PuzzPack v2.0 is an updated version of the Puzzle Pack application that was originally produced for the TCPA by Jason Kovacs, Brandon Sterner, Fred Coughlin, and Dan Englender. This new and improved version contains the same games that we all loved from v1.0, but that have been recoded for optimal performance, usage, and appearance. PuzzPack now has a new title screen, new game selection sequence, many internal changes for the programs, and should be completely flawless of bugs. The four puzzle games the Puzzle Pack contains are Dino Puzzle, Block Dude, Puzzle Frenzy, and Pegs, and they will keep you playing until you've beaten them all! This Flash Application was developed for Texas Instruments by the Detached Solutions staff and has the privilege of appearing on their TI-83 Plus Silver Edition models.

This TI-83 Plus Flash Application and program for MirageOS can generate a Calendar for any year from 0000 to 9999 A.D., and lets you scroll up and down through the months and years, as well as input any date to jump to. A great feature of this program is that it stores dates of Holidays, which are viewable from the Calendar and in a List form. There is the ability for the user to add holidays or other notable days to display for any year, and you can customize the text displayed for that day. On top of that, you can also set Notes on particular days, which can help you keep track of information for individual days, and lets you refer back to it later. This program is a must for any TI-83 Plus user to download because of the many things it can do to help you become more organized.

This Flash Application was the first one released for both the TI-73 and TI-83 Plus that had not been developed by Texas Instruments. CalcSys is a powerful system tool that contains many different utilities available to the user, which allow for investigating and altering of the TI-OS. This app includes a Memory Hex Editor, Disassembler, I/O Port Monitor, System Flag Editor, Console, VAT Viewer/Editor, and several other things that can be very helpful to TI-73 and TI-83 Plus Assembly developers. This is also an interesting program for the Non-developers to use and learn more about the operating system of the TI-73 and TI-83 Plus.

This TI-83 Plus Flash Application adds new functions to the calculator. You can now symbolically differentiate on you TI-83+ like you could previously only do on a TI-89 or Ti-92. Other functions include a symbolic simplifier and reciprical trig. These can be used anywhere on the calculator from the homescreen to BASIC programs.

Super Start Support Forum

Super Start launches PPG compressed and normal programs, but with a twist - it does the typing for you. After selecting a program in the VAR-LINK and pasting it to the Home Screen, you need press ENTER once and Super Start will finish typing parenthesis, decompress if necessary and launch the program for you.

For the geeks among us, Super Start integrates nicely with Command Post Plus to provide leak watch functionality.

DAWG (Dictionary And Word Games) is a spell checker and also a word puzzle solver, anagram finder, and more. It is fast (most spell checks take less than a second). However, at 100kb, it is a bit large, due to its vocabulary of about 40,000 words. A demo version with reduced functionality is available.

Cabamap is all about huge numbers, integers to be precise. This flash app provides an environment in which math operations can be performed on arbitrary-length integers. All of the basic math functions plus some additional ones are included, and the only limit is the amount of available RAM (approximately 24000 digits). Cabamap can also perform a prime number test on most numbers, and the entire app uses Reverse Polish Notation (RPN) as its interface. The source code is included and released under the GPL license.

Emu8x is an emulator that emulates the TI-82, TI-83, TI-85, and TI-86. It is unique in that it is a flash application which allows you to emulate any one of those fine graphing calculators on your TI-83 Plus Silver Edition (or TI-84 Plus). Thus you can have all of the advanced mathematical abilities of the TI-86 on your TI-83 Plus, for example. In order to use Emu8x you must own a 82, 83, 85, or 86 and have Java installed.
