We're happy to announce the TI-83 Plus Application Programming Contest. This contest is co-sponsored by Detached Solutions and Texas Instruments and is meant to create more interest in developing applications for the TI-83 Plus. The point of the contest is to create a TI-83 Plus application in either the "Educational" or "Other" category. Contest entries do not have to be in the form of applications, they can be 83 Plus RAM programs, but they must be something that can be converted to a full application in the future.

There are some really great prizes to be won, including a Special Edition TI-83 Plus, Educational SDK's, Limited Edition slide cases, and more. People with all different calculators and experience levels are welcome to enter. Entries are due by the first of March. For details about the contest, please view the Contest Webpage
