Jason Kovacs has created a Guestbook for the Detached Solutions website that allows for visitors of our site to post an entry with information about themselves in order to let the DS Staff and other page viewers know they were here. This Guestbook was largely written using the Server-side scripting language called PHP and also uses a MySQL Database to store the posted entries.

Posting requires the user's Firstname and Lastname, and other available fields that are optional are: E-mail Address, Location (i.e. City, State, Country), Homepage Address, and a Message. There is a Confirmation page for checking the information of an entry, and upon confirming, that post will be stored in our database to be viewed in the Guestbook. The Viewing process has several options such as listing the entries by either Last Name or Post Date, sorting them in Ascending or Descending order, and determining how many entries should be shown on each page: 10, 25, 50, 100, or ALL. The navigation system at the bottom of each view page allows a person to easily jump to any set of posts that have been made.

We encourage everyone to make an entry into our Guestbook so that we may know the amount of support the public has for our organization.
