Michael Vincent has announced the development of his latest flash application, Emu8x. Emu8x is an on-calc Z80 emulator that can emulate a TI-82, 83, 85, or 86. The host 83+ SE/84+ is fully isolated from any crashes, and the emulated calculators can be saved and loaded as desired. This application should prove useful to people who own other Z80-based calculators but do not often use them. For example, someone who also owned a TI-85 may wish to keep the 85 ROM on his calculator so base conversions and vector arithmetic are accessible through Emu8x.
